The SCBS has put together large store of helpful information and a group of seasoned beekeepers to assist you.
Mentors
Many members of the club serve as mentors to new beekeepers. THere is book smarts and there is experienced smarts. We encourage new beekeepers to team up with a mentor and learn hands on in a hive of bees.
Bee remove
The SCBA maintains a list of local beekeepers that wish remove a swarm or cutout of bees.
Each spring the SCBA offers an Introduction to Beekeeping class. This class is designed for those interested in beekeeping and want to learn more before they take the plunge.
