August 2025 Membership Meeting
August 24 @ 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
August meeting will be held at Doug Clemons’ place(15 E Guy St; Glen Carbon) with Secretary Sean Daenzer serving as host. Sean will be facilitating some inspections of his hives at this meeting offering both guidance on how to inspect and the opportunity to participate in the inspections. We may also mark queens and do a mite wash as well. Additionally there will be discussion on how to start preparing your hives for winter in the coming months.
The club will provide the main dish (TBD) and attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Attendees are also asked to bring a chair to sit in and protective gear if they intend to participate in the in hive activities.
