August 2026 Membership Meeting

Our August membership meeting will be held at Larry Loveless’s beeyard just outside of Gillespie.   The meeting will be on August 30 at 2pm.   Larry will getting chicken and members are encouraged to bring a side dish.   Please also bring a lawn chair and possibly your bee suit in case Larry decides to get into one of his hives during the meeting.

Here is a map to Larry’s place.  Larry recommends to be wary of GPS directions (especially if you are coming west on Rte 16) as they may direct you to a dirt field road, which is not in good condition and not a good route to follow.  The address is 10763 Newcomer Ave; Gillespie, IL  but the property is actually in a small village called  Henderson
